This is a “prototype ” paper write-up to introduce the concept I call Specified Work Process (SWP) Theory, previously referred to as Machine theory. This name is descriptive and avoids the term “Machine,” which, for the most part, differs from human-designed machines except for the processes they run: SWPs. This is an update of a Machine Theory paper I’d posted here, and the updates currently end on Page 5.
